U-GO pronounced “YOU GO”
Athletic Strength & Conditioning
Controlled strength work that builds into bigger combinations, faster transitions, and full-body conditioning. I lead the way, but the work is yours. It's on you.
U-GO
Five Pillars
- The alignment of mind, body, and community. Moving together. In rhythm. As one.
- The continuous curve symbolizes movement, growth, and the journey of becoming.
- The equal bars signify harmony between opposites, creating stability and alignment in all areas of life.
- The upward angle signifies intentional choices and a commitment to moving forward. It reflects vision, purpose, and the pursuit of growth.
- The strong base that supports everything you build. Rooted in principles. Steady in presence. Unshakable in purpose.

The Coach
Meet Ugo
I was born and raised in Nigeria. Growing up, I played every sport I could get my hands on, including track and basketball. Movement was never something I added to my life later. It was the foundation.
In 2008 I moved to the United States for college and graduated from the University at Buffalo, SUNY, with a bachelor's in management information systems and business. Away from home, I got serious about training. I worked on myself for years, and that became the journey. Eventually I decided to teach it.
I have been a NASM-certified personal trainer for over a decade. I started boxing in 2016 with the mindset of competing, and in 2022 I won the New York Boxing Tournament. It taught me what it takes to be an athlete, and it gave me direction: every session needs a purpose, and every rep needs to mean something.
I started out as a personal trainer at Crunch. Then I joined AARMY, where I coached for almost seven years, the longest I have been anywhere. I currently coach at Equinox and The Pack. Each place taught me something different. U-GO brings those pieces together, from strength and conditioning to boxing and athletic movement, with music that keeps the room moving as one. That is synchrony.
Training is hard, but it should not be so serious that you stop enjoying it. The only person you are competing with is yourself, and we are in it for the long game, so you might as well have fun. That is balance.
What I enjoy most is coaching and watching people get better.
